There hasn’t been a new generation of game consoles for a long, long time – 2005 to be exact when Microsoft released the Xbox 360. Believe it or not the console has come to the end of its life with advances in graphics and processing technology which is actually about due because the consoles have been lagging behind PC gaming for a seriously long time. The Xbox one will not be available for most people until early 2014 because the demand for the console has been so high so a Christmas delivery will be unlikely.

Apple has been releasing the iPhone’s since 2007. When the device was first released to the public it was a true revolution – probably the biggest the market had ever had. In the years following other companies have been making phones which are like the iPhone to compete with it but, they are never quite as good. Some have even been sued by the tech giant for copyright infringements.

The ultimate device for controlling all of your electronics. This little remote costs £150 and will allow you to control everything in your living room from the colour of the lights to game consoles. This uses a Bluetooth hub to connect to different devices which do not need anything plugged into them. You also have the option to use the iPhone app instead of the remote to control everything which is pretty handy.
